Important TF2 Map Downloads

Many people ask where you go to download the server maps. That would be here.

Downloaded maps go to the following directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\download\maps

If using Google Chrome: Hover over the desired map download link and right click, selecting "Open link in new window", and then refresh the newly-opened window to start the download. This problem is caused by the file sharing service using the standard insecure http, yet this forum site using the more secure https, and Chrome suspecting the transfer of a https to an http. If that does not work, simply try pasting the link in a new tab.

The official .vmf file is not public, and will not be given away. v1 of the map is private, and will not be given away. There are gaps in map versions, but this does not mean those missing versions (v54, for example) actually exist.
